Eugene City Council
to watch: Online meetings are streaming on bit.ly/Eugene-meetings It airs on Comcast Channel 21.

To attend: Board meetings are held at the Mary Spilde Center at 101 W 10th Ave. Meeting at 7:30pm on Monday will be an option to attend in person.
For comment: Where there is a public forum or public hearing, there will be an option to join the meeting for those not attending in person. People who call can also comment. There are instructions given to speak during the meeting.

what: Council members will discuss a proposed plan to engage the public in building electrification and decarbonization.

Ordinary meeting
When: 7:30 p.m. on Mondays
what: Board members will report on committee actions and other items of interest before consideration of the approval calendar, including minutes, a provisional work agenda for future meetings, and a resolution authorizing budgeting two years at a time.
The council will then hold a public forum.
Council members will also vote on four resolutions and decrees:
- Resolution authorizing the development of a biennial (two-year) budget for the Urban Renewal Agency
- An ordinance that would amend a city ordinance on interference with police officers to comply with changes in state law
- Decree extending the franchise agreement with Comcast
- Ordinance amending city ordinance to establish clear and objective approval criteria for housing

what: Board members will get an update on strategic planning.

Springfield City Council

For comment: There will be instructions during the meeting to speak during public comment or public hearings.

what: The city attorney will give council members an update on required changes to a city law prohibiting camping in public spaces to comply with federal court decisions and changes in state law.
Board members will also get an update on the project to map out the overall plan.
They will then continue a discussion about parking requirements under the state’s Climate Friendly and Equitable Communities rules.

Springfield Economic Development Agency Board
Sida’s board of directors consists of the city council, the mayor, and the Lynn County Commissioner representing Springfield.
When: 7 p.m. on Monday
what: After the meeting opens, board members will listen to and respond to public comments.
They would then vote on a resolution that would authorize the city manager to award contracts that normally require board approval during the winter break break.

Lynn County Board of Commissioners
to watch: County Meetings stream in bit.ly/LaneCounty-meetings.
To attend: Board of Commissioners meetings begin at 9 a.m. in Harris Hall, located at 125 E 8th Ave. , unless otherwise indicated. Harris Hall doors open at 8:45 am
For comment: When there is an opportunity to comment, people have to register for the meeting to do so virtually. After registering, people will get information on how to attend.
Those who go to the meeting in person must register on the sign-in sheet located next to the entry door.
There will be instructions during the meeting to speak during the public hearings and to make public comments.

morning session
When: 9 a.m. Tue
what: Commissioners will listen and respond to public comment before considering an approval calendar that includes contracts and acceptance of $8.3 million in federal funding.
They will also get an update on progress towards updating the overall plan for Willamalan Park and Recreation District. This discussion will start at 10 am
The council will then have a report on the legal analysis of what it would take to rename Linn County.

afternoon session
When: 1:30 p.m. Tuesday
what: The Board of Directors will hold a public hearing on an ordinance to extend the franchise agreement with Comcast. The agreement allows the cable company to use the county’s road rights for the infrastructure.
The commissioners will also vote on an order that would allow the use of county funds to build a wildfire evacuation route between Laughlin Road and Survis Perry Lane southwest of Eugene.
